Syrian Pop Up!
The Hampstead Kitchen Feed Fund alongside Appearhere & NextGen London are supporting Imad Alarnab, a Syrian chef and refugee living in London. Imad will be opening his own pop-up cafe, serving traditional food for 2 weeks in March. This pop- up is Imad's first step towards making his own dream of running his own restaurant to support his family again.
Imad is from Damascus, and enjoyed cooking for hundred every night in his own restaurant. He lost the restaurant due to the war and was forced to flee. Now based in London, is hoping to bring people together and showcase food from home.
The food will be served family style with a 3 course set menu designed to be shared with fellow diners. The men includes many traditional dishes such as Fattoush Kabsa (spicy chicken with cardamon and rice ) and Tabakh Rohoo (aubergine, squash and tamarind stew).
Not to be missed, please come and support!
